Susan Trainor

Susan Trainor has been a dancer, choreographer and trainer for the last 35 years. She trained in classical ballet and at the age of 19 she started her professional dance career in Limbs Dance Company, then performed with numerous contemporary dance companies in New Zealand and Australia.

She was a model and and actress and using her dance background, choregrapahed the live to air Benson & Hedges Fashion Awards and 3 Smokefree Fashion Awards. She has also choreographed for film and television, including regular spots for Shortland Street.

She was a ballet teacher at UNITEC School for the Performing Arts and Auckland University. For the last 10 years she has been a Program Director for Les Mills International, creating 2 group fitness products, which she coached and presented for video, and at live events around the world.

She is married to Peter Elliott whom she has known for 38 years. They have 3 children, a dog and 2 cats. She enjoys movies, theatre, dance and cooking dinner for friends.
