Born in Sydney Australia, Breanna studied dance at Newtown High School of the Performing Arts, where she received extensive contemporary and classical training for seven years.

In 2014, Breanna then decided to further her contemporary studies at The New Zealand School Of Dance (NZSD), in Wellington, graduating in 2016 with a Diploma in Dance Performance. A major highlight of her time at the school was being invited to work and perform in the Metamorphosis Summer Residency in San Sebastián, Spain, with Iratxe Ansa. During her studies at NZSD, she performed in World of Wearable Arts in 2014 under the direction of Malia Johnston and Victoria Columbus, toured to Tempo Dance Festival, Auckland, in 2016 performing ‘Miniatures’ choreographed by Malia Johnston and performed and choreographed in NZSD’s choreographic season 2016, ‘SCOPE’.

She has also had the privilege to work with established artists such as, James O’Hara, Ross McCormack, Kimball Wong, Amber Haines and Kyle Page.

Breanna debuted with NZDC at Splore, WOMAD, Hamilton Gardens Arts Festival and Kiss The Sky and is delighted to continue working with The New Zealand Dance Company.
